Reading Response #1

The book that I currently is called "Homeboyz" by Alan Lawrence Sitomer.

Its talked about Teddy's little sister, Tina, is gunned down in drive-by shooting, the gang members who rule the streets in the Anderson family's rapidly deterioring neighborhood dismiss the incident as a wrong place and wrong time. When the Anderson family mourns, Teddy plots the revenge. He is arrested for attempted homicide and thrown into the dark reality of California's juvenile prison, his plans for revenge foiled.
Blink try to steal one of the teacher's car Toyota Camry stereo. The teacher yelled at her to give the stereo back and all the sudden Blink slammed the stereo at the teacher's face. The teacher's face had to have despite multiple plastic surgeries.
That's all i read so far at the beginning of the class.

"Gimme a chocolate Bomb Pop."

"Maybe.."
Meeksha heard the jingly bells of ice cream truck coming by the curb and parked. She decide that she want something sweet for ice cream truck. Something what happen next when she don't have any smaller bills change.

Shift by Jennifer Bradbury

I just read the book called Shift by Jennifer Bradbury.

Imagine that you and your best friend head to West on a cross-country bike trek, get into a fight and stop riding together, you reach seattle, go back home, starting college, think your former best friend does too but he doesn't, and your world shifting.
When Chris Collins start to take the bike out of the house and he let go the bike so it would fell. he walk to the mailbox and got the messages from his mom because his mom panicked a lot and worried.
In about three weeks before his graduated from high school. His mother asked Chris about summer job because Chris might be sitting all around and using his parent's money but his mother try to get Chris to get a job because Chris will apply the college after high school. Even Chris decide to go to the college or not.

that's all I read a few chapters of the book.

Title 11.08.2012 Gregor The Overlander

I just read chapter 19 of the book and its kind of overwhelming. The rat regarded the three armed humans with amusement. Luxa and Mareth stopped but Henry ignored Vikus's command and lunged at the rat without moving other muscle, the rat flicked his tail. it cracked like whip knocking the sword from Henry's hand. He gripped his wrist in pain. The rat glanced around at Luxa Mareth, and Henry, who were keeping their distance. The bats were extending and folding their wings, not sure of what to do. A long pause followed in which no one exhaled.

Gregor The Overlander

The author wrote this book name is Suzanne Collins.
I'm not finish the book but i just read the half way of the book.

The summary is talking about when eleven year old Gregor follows his little sister through the grate in the laundry room of their New York apartment building, he hurtles into the dark Underlander beneath the city. The humans live uneasily beside giant spiders, bats, cockroaches, and the rats but the fragile oeace is about to fall apart.

Gregor wants no part of a conflict. He just wants to find way home. But when he discovers that a prophecy foretells a role for him in the Underland's future, he realizes it might be the only way to solve the biggest mystery of his life. Little does he know his quest will change him and the Underlander forever.

I don't remember what he reminds me of.
